Hi I am Jane Hanna, I own a Harley-Davidson 2002 model FXDL in Red and Diamond ice. My bike matches My Husband Dave's FLSTC in colour and we bought them both in October 2001.
The Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider is as the name suggests one of the lowest in riding terms of the Harley range with a seat height of 640mm, this is only surpassed by the night train with a seat height a mere one millimeter lower at 639mm.
To achieve this the front and rear suspensions have been further chopped, add to this the pull back risers coupled to low rise handlebars which are attached to the 32 degree raked out front end and you get a machine that gives the riding style of a true Custom.
This would be enough but Harley have this year chopped the rear end to put a 150 wide profile tyre in as standard giving a complete custom feel to the whole bike.
I have further styled my FXDL by fitting a single seat, Road King Butterfly Bars and forward controls along with a few other goodies. But the most distinctive feature is the Custom Sissy bar that my Husband made to keep me snugly in my seat.
